Whitstable remain without a point after tow games but player-coach Mal Graves has no doubt their ability to hold their own in Kent 1.
The Blues, beaten by Old Gravesendians in their opening game, led much -fancied Anchs until the final quarter when three tries without reply sealed the points for the visitors.
Graves said: "We played well and much of the games we were winning.
I was disappointed to lose and that we didn't get a bonus point but i was much happier than i hd been the first game. it was a big improvement.
When we were under the cosh we defected well and scored three fantastic tries. Their coach was full of praise for us and told me 'You'll be all right.'"
Blues were missing several players through injury and availability meaning coach Graves started but, after falling behind, they hit back to lead 14-10.
A third converted try had them in front 21-19 before Anchs' grater strength in depth helped them score three tries, one of which was converted, to give them a flattering victory margin.
Whitstable's tries came from Bobby Powell, Cameron Fry and Marck Olive, with Andrew Huey adding the conversions.
Wingers Fry and Powell were two of Whitstable's stand-out players, with the latter chasing and harassing superbly, as well as looking dangerous with ball in hand.
Graves added: "We're a good team with a small squad and that's what's hurting us at the moment."
Blues travel to New Ash Green on Saturday. The Dartford side begun with a defeat and a win beating Foots Cray 10-6 last week.
