Whitstable welcomes Old Gravesendians to Reeves Way for their first league meeting since the 2021/22 season. That year, Whitstable earned promotion to what is now Kent Counties 3, but their last clash was a close one, with Old Gs edging a 7-3 win on the final day—a result that handed Dartford Valley the league title.
Old Gravesendians have since followed suit, gaining promotion after finishing 3rd in Kent Counties 4 last season. They’ve started strong this year, winning two of their first three matches, with their only loss coming to Brockleians—a team Whitstable knows well from their Kent Vase Final showdown. The two sides also met in the same competition last season, when Whitstable knocked Old Gs out with a commanding 37-7 win at home.
With Whitstable coming off two impressive away victories to open the season, their first home fixture is shaping up to be a cracker. Head down to Reeves Way and cheer the boys on!
